Alchemy Formulae
|
|
Alchemy formulas are learned from alchemy scrolls. When you get an alchemy scroll you need to STUDY it until you
learn it. When it crumbles, you've learned that formula.
Some important information you will want to know......
FORMULA - Lists all formulas
you know FORMULA <skill> - Lists all formulas you know that use <skill> FORMULA
CIRCLE <#> - Lists all formulas you know that are circle <#> FORMULA <#>
- Lists detailed information on formula <#>
Once you reach a specific level you can learn to batch formulas. I won't tell you how to learn to batch, it's a
quest! But I can tell you that you can buy a clue in one of the alchemy shops.
Some batching information........
USAGE: BATCH - Details how many of what you're currently set to make.
BATCH (HEALING | EXPLOSIVE | ALTERATION | REAGENT | CONJURATION) -Explains how many of that formula type you
can make within (relatively) safe limits.
BATCH (#) - Explains how many of that specific formula you can make within (relatively) safe limits.
BATCH (HEALING | EXPLOSIVE | ALTERATION | REAGENT | CONJURATION) (#) - Set yourself to the number of
that particular formula type that you wish to make.
BATCH HELP - This message.
The maximum anyone can set themselves to make is fourty. The minimum is two. You can clear your
selection by entering a number of zero. Note that it is up to you to decide what you think you can safely make in batches,
so be careful!
Additionally, the process of making potions in batches is understandably different from potions that are hand-crafted
in singles. Because of this, potions that are made in batches are potentially toxic to non-Alchemists and should not
be used by them.
To create a formula you will have to hold one ingredient in your right hand and the other in your left and then COMBINE
them. If you have the skill and some luck they will come out fine, if not.....well, it was nice knowing you.

brain. So, while she may not die within thirty seconds of being consumed by the toxin, the resourceful hunter with paralysis
poison on her weapon should find it much easier to take down an opponent who falls victim to the venom.
